Cara Gee #3

guestbloggerWow. I can’t believe TIFF is over. That was the wildest time of my whole life. I slept 3 hours a night for the duration of the festival and I wouldn’t change that for anything! Good thing I have extensive experience staying up late. I already miss my fellow Rising Star homies. I’m so excited for when Evelyne is back filming Orphan Black so Jonathan and I can show her around town. Those dudes are the raddest.

I’m so honoured that Empire of Dirt received a special citation from the jury! I can’t wait until we open the film across Canada and everyone who missed our sold-out run at TIFF can finally catch it.  I’m so inspired right now. There were so many incredible films at the festival. Next year I’m totally buying a pass.

As I type this, I happen to be in Newfoundland shooting an episode of Republic of Doyle. It’s also crazy busy, but I think everything feels more laid back out here. I’m angling to parlay this one-time guest star part into a recurring role next season so I can come back and hang out with the b’ys. I heart Nfld.

xoxo, Cara

Oh hi Kardinal. What are you saying? Just chillin at Toronto Life's Most Stylish party? Me too! What's that you say? My cousin's article about the anniversary of Northern Touch was awesome? I agree. http://metronews.ca/scene/671490/rascalzs-hit-single-northern-touch-still-notorious/
